Explanation of Formation

The team strategy is spirit fighting with unstoppable running. Schwarzer is selected as a first-choice keeper. The defensive line is extremely aware of conceding risk. Cohen and Nagamoto are based on full-back area. H. Myung Bo is a deep-sweeper and also a leader of defensive line. Marston is a stopper. Karembeu is responsible as a tireless destroyer. Kagawa is a playmaker based on midfield area only. S. Hueng Min operates the game in a right-side midfield area. Kewell is the most advanced role in the midfield and would run across midfield to forward zone to support the forwards. Cha Bum Kun dynamically run as a deep-lying forward and Majed is a main finisher.

Mark Viduka is far better than Maksim Shatskikh and Ali Daei. I suggest you put him above Tim Cahill. Viduka had a much better prime. I suggest you lowere bresciano too.

    1. Viduka is far better in higher standard of football even he was not effort in playing for Australia let NT scores record is very low. Ali Daei was a holder of most international goals but most of them just made against amateur national team. I agree on Viduka > Daei. I’m not too sure for Shatkikh who was one of the important players of Dinamo Kiev in its glory era of UEFA Champion League and he should be much better than Viduka in NT career.

How are Breciano and Cahill this much better at club level. Vidukas prime is considerably better than both. In reference to Maksim Shatskikh goals at international level are all against amateur team to. His record at Kiev isn't that good bar a couple 20 goals season but you can hardly say that those seasons were better than Viduka's best seasons in the Premiership. Even Viduka's time at Zagreb and Celtic would beat large parts of Shatskikh's club career

    1. I rated Viduka in low ranking because of his awful NT record but it has been marked as exceptional case since standard of club competition Viduka performed is much higher than that of Asian & Oceania. I agree to name him higher than Shatskikh but not for Bresciano and Cahill who contributed to Australia much more than Viduka and also very successful in Series A and Premier League respectively. Now I have reformed the ranking as there are many players seems overrated.
Thanks for great suggestion once again. May I ask which country are you from ?

    1. His case interesting. He born in Asia but his blood is just a half-Asian. When consider he first played for European national team (Catalonia national team), his case will be the same as Gentile who I consider as European not African.

    2. Regarding other you were considering the place of birth, this criterion it should be considered Asian because many who never worked in Africa you considered how African criteria is criterion.

      Delete
    3. The criteria is set to include players with place of birth and blood regardless of the nation they have played. Alcantara is not 100 % Asian blood so he is out of the criteria extent.

    4. A player like reputed to have been one of the biggest Asian players of all time, as you consider Spanish, he has these numbers: Barcelona 177 games and 200 goals; Bohemian Sporting Club 23 games and 24. NATIONAL TEAMS: Spain 5 games and 6 goals; Catalonia 4 games and 4 gols; Philippines 2 games and 1 gols, should be included are the selection of Spain on his blog International Legendary Museum.

  6. Christian Karembeu was born in New Caledonia (Oceania) and played for Real Madrid many years although he played for France instead of New Caledonia. Compared to many of these footballers mentioned here, I think he could grab a well-deserved place if criterion allowed to. Anyway, it would be really interesting a list of footballers that could have played for a different nation according to its birthplace. There are many celebrities that match the case.

    1. I have to agree with you. Just likes the identification case of African player by African-born and blooded. Karembeu born in Oceania and also have 100 % Oceania blood. It would become interesting if he should have been a greatest Asian-Oceanian player ever. Let me consider and add him in any time.

    2. Hello, I back to discuss this issue. I see the New Caledonia is a special collectivity of France and it is not a sovereign state. It is true that Karembeu born in Oceania but the new Caledonia is available as ethnicity not nationality. It is hard to define him as an Oceanian.
